Final Fantasy 11: An Immersive world

Everyone loves a game that you can just sit down and become immersed in. We all want to enjoy those key moments with our friends and family that make us say wow. The team at Square Enix has created a true masterpiece in Final Fantasy 11 with its content, music, and overall game play. But, with every masterpiece there are some flaws. Nowadays most people are pressed for time and they seek something casual to get into. Which is why this game may not be for some.

The feeling of truly being apart of the story really draws you into this game. The main story line came with an amazing element that many MMOs have tried to copy as of late. This element puts your character at the forefront and you get to see all of their actions as such. Final Fantasy 11 brought about cut scenes in its storyline that put you in the story itself. Watching your character be apart of the story was a much-needed change and empowered the player to keep charging through. It feels as if you are on the big screen and everyone is watching to see what you are going to do next.

What’s a great scene with out captivating music? The music of the game really brings depth to all the feelings and emotions of the game. They did a wonderful job drawing in the player into what ever may have been going on at the time, may it be a crazy battle to simply walking around towns or exploring the scenery with a friend. Overall, each moment seems to be brought out in a very colorful and descriptive way with its distinct choice of music.

Not many games can keep us filled with that sense of hunger for more. Lively communities are one of the key elements to that. Also the fact that you just can’t get your hands off the game. The game play in Final Fantasy can be time consuming at times as it takes sometimes hours to get something assembled. Once everything is good to go the rewarding experience makes up for those agonizing hours. Which leads to the visuals.

The lush yet dark and gloomy world that is Vana’Diel draws a picture that sometimes you can’t escape. In this world conflict ensues and you will come across some amazing battles. The things that truly catch your eye are the amazing weapon skill animations, the casting animations, and the overall battle animations. They are some of the best in the business and you would really be pleased once you get into the higher-level battles.

Square Enix sought to bring out the best the Japanese had to offer to the gaming world. Final Fantasy was a medium that brought the east and west together for the ultimate experience in MMOs during its golden ages. Even now its still delivers those key elements that many us thrive on in an MMO and will continue to for years to come.
